REFUGEE CAMP
Since going to Calais to help feed refugees in a camp there, I couldn’t shake how it made me feel. Then I read a news article about an over crowded refugee camp in Greece which caught fire, killing a woman and child. When the migrants began protesting about the unsafe living conditions, the police responded by just throwing teargas in their faces. This illustration is my way of expressing my disbelief that this crisis is still continuing and how no one seems to care.

NORTH VIETNAM
This illustration was inspired by my recent travels through the mountains and rural villages of North Vietnam.
I drove a moped through Ha Giang mountains for 3 days, and on the way past these young girls selling flower crows on the side of the road. I drew this memory of a few days after my trip as a constant reminder of my travels in Vietnam.

THE SOCIAL DILEMA
My illustration inspired by the documentary I watched last week, where the founders of all the top social media sites revealed that they would NEVER let their kids use these platforms...what does that say about the impact technology must be having on our minds if the people who create them wont even let their kids near them?
We wouldn’t dream of giving children toxic things that damage their physical health.. Yet we naively surround them with the most mentally toxic thing from an incredibly young age.
